The Transformers Bot Shots Online Battle Game has now fully launched the game, including player-versus-player battling! When the game initially launched back in March, players were able to face the computer and go on Adventures, but now players can play real people on the other side of the interwebs! To get Energon Cubes to upgrade with Power Ups, Avatar Extras, and Bot Shots in the online game, gamers can input a unique code that is available on a slip of paper inside each Bot Shot package. The Transformers Fall of Cybertron level featuring Cliffjumper will heavily feature stealth and utilize the character's cloaking ability. Revealed in the most recent episode of GameTrailers GT.TV, the gameplay footage shows Cliffjumper can cloak and sneak behind enemies and kill them. Cliffjumper will also play a supporting character on the level featuring Jazz. If you are looking to stay up late Thursday night and have Spike TV, why not catch a new episode of Game Trailers TV (GTTV) that spotlights Transformers Fall of Cybertron? The promo for the episode (embedded after the jump) shows that crew heading out to High Moon Studios headquarters once again to get a look at Cliffjumper gameplay in Transformers Fall of Cybertron and an update on Grimlock. The Transformers Prime The Game Debut Trailer that was shown at BotCon 2012 has been posted online by IGN. The trailer shows off some in-game footage from the Nintendo Wii; the game will also be released on the Nintendo 3DS and DS handheld systems. All of the television series voice actors will lend their voices to the game. The developers are targeting a holiday 2012 release.
During the Jagex panel, the creative team presented some new images and information on their upcoming Transformers: Universe MMO. The images were mostly concept art pieces, showing locations within the game, including what would presumably be the Decepticon starting location inside Megatrons layer, an Energon cavern and a battle scene taking place within the woods. During the Transformers Fall of Cybertron panel hosted by Activision, the guys revealed some information that is to come for their Transformers Fall of Cybertron and Transformers Prime video games. Matt "Tieg" Tieger provided some more details of the multiplayer customization, which will allow for "unpredecented ability to craft your own Transformer." High Moon Studios promised yesterday that a trailer for Transformers Fall of Cybertron would get released today along with a release date, and they were not lying. In the new trailer, we get a new glimpse at the destruction of Cybertron as the Autobots fight to flee and Megatron tries to keep them there so he can destroy them once and for all. In this explosive trailer, we get more views of in-game graphics, which look rather fantastic, as we saw in previous gameplay videos, as well as a glimpse at the Ark in action, right before it gets hammered. Developer NetDragon have launched the China-only Transformers: Online massively multiplayer third person shooter (MMOTPS). This game that is not to be confused with the Transformers Universe, in development by Jagex. The just launched game is aimed at the PC platform with a different focus on the Transformers Universe using their own regionally deigned game engine that is for Asian players only. The site has launched with a new trailer and some wallpapers you can see after the jump.

Activision has just sent over a trailer for their upcoming Transformers Prime video game that will arrive on Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DS platforms this fall. This is the same trailer that was teased in the Transformers: Prime Season One Limited Edition Blu-ray Boxset that came out earlier this month. The game will put gamers in control of the Autobots and will "explore unique vistas all around the world with brawler-style combat and diverse driving sequences" as they "save the Earth from Megatron and his new secret weapon." Hasbro has launched the online game component for the newest Transformers Bot Shots toyline today. The game allows players to battle online just like the physical version of the game and gamers can also input a unique code that is available on a slip of paper inside each Bot Shot package. The codes give players Energon Cubes that can be spent in the online game store to buy Power Ups, Avatar Extras, and Bot Shots for use to battle within the online game. Shout! Factory sent to the Tformers offices a review copy of the Transformers: Prime Season 1 Blu-ray Set, and to our surprise, we found a little promotional video advertising that Transformers Prime The Game would be arriving on Nintendo Wii, DS, and 3DS platforms this Fall! Not much is known about the game so far, but Activision is once again publishing while Japanese studio NowPro will develop the game for the three Nintendo platforms. Continue reading...

The website promoting the upcoming Transformers The Ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood is going live this weekend and users will be able to play games to win various prizes, according to an email sent out. The website, www.PrepareForBattle.com, which has been hosting communiques from General Morshower, will launch this weekend where players can win numerous prizes, including exclusive Transformers art, numbered collectible embroidered badges, and a trip to N.E.S.T. headquarters located in Culver City, CA. Gallery updated with new images Thanks to {Zero} over at the Allspark, who located some of the new Bot Shots toys that he found at his local Asda. According to {Zero}, they only seemed to have the four or five of these figures including Bumblebee, Starscream, Prime, Barricade and Megatron. The game is said to be like paper, scissors, stone. Each robot has a three sided rotating symbol in their chest with fist, blaster and sword where one is chosen and then transformed into vehicle mode. The players then ram them into each other to transform into bot mode. Check out the images and more details after the jump.
Inter-Media and Entertainment Takara Tomy Join Forces to Launch Social Games. In a press released out today, the two companies will work together to release social games, card games and social a world-wide themed title game called "Transformers for GREE." It appears the two companies are producing new games for online fans to interact with their mobile and smart phones including the iPhone and Android platforms as well as streaming content like G1 cartoons coming this and next month.
