Rescue Bots
Deadline is reporting today that The Hub will soon be transitioning to primary control by Discovery, following acquisition of a portion of Hasbro's existing stake in the joint network venture. The network is expected to be rebranded as Discovery Family, joining a range of other specialty channels in Discovery's lineup. For more details, keep reading!
Age of Extinction
The XMas goodies are already arriving at CostCo in the San Francisco Bay Area with the arrival of the Bumblebee Lite [Light?] Guardian by Tech 4 Kids. The people who brought us Mash Em's and other AOE licensed items. This is night light accessory aimed at young children who apparently cannot spell yet. This was on display with their Liteforce collection that includes Marvel Spiderman and My Little Pony that are on sale for $9.99.

Thanks to ACToys member huzi558 we have more MP-20 Wheeljack out of box images that show details of the Transformers Masterpiece figure that was released in Japan last week. Generation 1
Marc T. Nobleman reports that G1 Voice Actor Buster Jones has passed away on September 15th at the age of 71. The cause is currently unknown. Jones was the voice of Blaster, as well as appearing as the 2006 chief of the New York PD in season 3. Among his other notable roles is that of Black Vulcan on the Super Friends cartoon. An excerpt from Nobleman's obituary of Jones follows after the cut.

The official TakaraTomy Twitter account for Transformers has posted new images of Lost Age LA-13 Battle Attack Nemesis Prime. The appropriately numbered figure is a recolor of Power Attackers Optimus Prime, and frankly looks a little underdecorated, even by the standards of the kids-line TF4 toys and the standards of other Nemeses Prime. On Thursday, October 9th, visitors to NYCC will be able to attend a Hasbro panel on the upcoming Robots in Disguise animated series. New details and new character reveals are promised, so it'll definitely be worth a look. Keep reading for more details!

The Future Exhibits page of the Indianapolis Children's Museum's website has a listing for a Transformers exhibit scheduled to run between March and July of 2015. From the description, it's going to spotlight the process of creating Transformers figures, much like the exhibit currently in Rhode Island. Due out at the end of the year are issues 36 of both More Than Meets The Eye and The Transformers, formerly Robots in Disguise, as well as issue 5 of Transformers vs GI Joe, issue 2 of Drift: Empire of Stone, and the first collection volume of Transformers vs GI Joe, and volume 6 of More Than Meets The Eye. Collectors Club
The Collectors Club has posted the next promo image from Subscription Service 3, featuring Carzap who is based on an unproduced G2 Windbreaker recolor from the planned Japanese Block Town line using Kre-O and including a Kreon GB Blackrock figure. Carzap is based on the body used for IDW Bumblebee/Goldfire/Nightbeat/Go-Shooter with a new unique headsculpt for this character. Keep reading to see the full size promo shot!

Today we have renders of a pair of their upcoming combiners cassettes. You might want to compare them to the G1 characters Dial and Saur. The brontosaurus will probably be recolored as not-Sludge and Fullstop. The other one will be recolored into Shift. Shift and Fullstop will form the combiner called Reelthing. Fullstop and Shift are potentially part of the upcoming Dinominions set, a team of fan-made dinosaur support cassettes for the Dinobots. Included in the pictures are the G1 Dail and Saur toys, and concept images of Fullstop and Shift.
MasterPiece
The official Japanese Transformers Twitter account has posted images of MP-24 Star Saber's shield, which swaps out a part of the center stripe to become a stand for his alternate mode. It also shows off the V-Star, the official name of his armor's alternate mode when not combined with Saber. Keep reading for the photos!
