Two different online retailers have altered their release date for Masterpiece Wheeljack to Late September 2014, indicating that the figure may be delayed. Meanwhile, Amazon has not changed their release date, so its possible that the Hypnochip Disruptor version may be available sooner. We'll keep you posted, but for now you can click through and see the revised listings for yourself.
BaCon's got new pictures of Funko's Transformers Hikari Vinyls! Distinct from the company's POP!Vinyl, Hikary Vinyls are small figurines made of translucent, glittered vinyl to assure that they catch the light well ("hikari" is the Japanese word for "light.") Check out the photos below!
BaCon got a chance to talk with Jerry Jivoin of Hasbro and talk about their plans and design work for 2015's Combiner Wars theme for Generations. Jivoin talked with fans at SDCC for about fifteen minutes, and talked about not just the combiners, but Windblade, IDW, and lots more. In a case of incomplete image processing, it seems a bit of extra data found its way in to the stock image of Generations Menasor. With some adjustments to the levels, you can clearly read a portion of a list of filenames, which reveal Huffer and Blackjack on the list of upcoming Legends class toys. Blackjack is very likely Menasor's chest buddy, based on the Micromaster of the same name. We've enhanced the stock photo, check it out for yourself. Thanks to Jalaguy for originally discovering this!
Finally we have the first look at the "mainline" figures for Robots in Disguise, starting with none other than Bumblebee. Sharing a lot of visual cues with Prime's Vehicon body, Bumblebee is looking pretty sharp, and with any luck may share some of that figure's inventive engineering tricks. This is just one of a full assortment of Deluxe figures that will launch in 2015, but we'll have to keep waiting to see his case-mates. Check out the photos below!
The debut of Robots in Disguise merchandise delighted many with the promise of Cyberverse-scale figures to return! Seen so far are Legion Optimus Prime, and a police truck representing the newly revealed character Strongarm. If you can't get enough of these smaller scale Transformers, it looks like you're going to be in luck next year! Keep reading to see the images.
Hasbro properly debuted the merchandise for next year's "Robots in Disguise" cartoon that will be the sequel to Transformers Prime. With just a small amount to show so far, we're starting with familiar One-Step Changer toys, and a new play pattern called Hyper Change. But more interesting to me is the car that turns in to a dinosaur! Keep reading to check it out yourself!

Autobase Aichi has passed along some stock photo finds showing the previously leaked Protectobot-themed figure packs. We now have a look at all five members and can see Hot Spot lacks the purpose-made head from the GDO toy, but uses parts of Grapple's tooling. The release for these figures is still unknown, but is rumored to be an Asian market exclusive. That may not be terrible news, if we might expect a proper Defensor for 2015's Combiner Wars. Keep reading to see the images!
BaCon's gotten video footage of the preview of Robots In Disguise 2015! The new animation style is looking good, and we get good looks at Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and the Elite Guard and Dinobot members of the team who are as-yet unnamed. Keep reading to see!
BaCon's still at the Hasbro Breakfast at Comic-Con International 2014, and he's got photos of the promo for Robots in Disguise 2015! Click the title to see! (...is that Smokescreen returning from Prime Beast Hunters in a more G1ish design?)
That wasn't much of a wait, huh? BaCon has snapped more photos of upcoming Generations Combiners Superion and Menasor! The combiners will be sold as individual figures consisting of a Voyager Class for the mid-section and Deluxe Class figures for the limbs. It seems to me like Superion's gun is a robot unto itself... and it looks a lot like Legends Powerglide. Also, it looks as iff Motormaster is possibly a recolor of the upcoming Voyager Optimus Prime. More info as it becomes available, but for now keep reading and check out the gallery! These will be see these out in January 2015 as the start of the "Combiner Wars" to follow Thrilling 30.
