Following on from the initial portion posted about a month ago, Seqart Organization wraps up its lengthy interview with writer James Roberts, touching particularly on building characters and relationship dynamics within the cast of More Than Meets The Eye
. While not necessarily groundbreaking new information, it's a great insight to the process behind the fan-favorite series. Keep reading for an excerpt from the article and a link to the full interview!
Along with Not-Especially-Ultra Magnus, Iron Factory has released images of colored samples of their figures based on Sixgun and Slammer at the Legends scale, which will complete the assortment of partner toys for Fall of Cybertron Metroplex along with that toy's included Scamper. I only count four total guns on Sixgun, making it truly NOT-Sixgun, but its ability to separate in to two large guns or become a tank gives it a somewhat versatile play pattern. Keep reading to see the photos.
Iron Factory has thrown itself fully in to creating additional figures scaled to Generations Legends based on other classic characters. Newly revealed is one figure based on Ultra Magnus that transforms in to a full truck with trailer, though at this size it's more of an assault vehicle than car carrier. It's displayed in scale relative to several other figures, but should be around the same height as current Generations Legends for interactivity with Metroplex. Keep reading to see the images!

This assortment will feature Rollbar who takes heavy X-Brawn cues, Strafe, ROTF Megatron(?!), and a very G1 Prowl. Keep reading to see images of each figure in both modes and packaged!

Planet Iacon has posted new scans showing off Masterpiece Star Saber along with his smaller component robot, Saber. His Brainmaster component, the Brain of Courage, is not shown, or at least not clearly visible at this resolution, but he does have an opening clear-plastic cockpit and there might
be something in it...? Keep reading to see the scans and judge for yourself.
Once again, unreleased G2 figures are making their way to eBay. The Combat Hero Optimus Prime and Megatron are recolors of the super-articulated (for the time but still
pretty darn good) 5" tall Hero Optimus Prime and Megatron figures with air-launching missiles. This blue color scheme was the inspiration for the G2 recolor of Laser Optimus Prime that appeared in the 2012 Ultimate Gift Set. Keep reading for photos, plus links to the auctions!
Well, 18 months after posting their first teaser, we have out first look at TW-D01 (not Snarl, who looks finished) and TW-D02 (not Sludge, seen as a prototype) - In COMBINED MODE!
Amazingly these combiners seem to be taking their positions on the combiner as legs just like the TFC Toys Star Rescue Team dinosaur combiner, but they are clearly a more G1 accurate homage.
Their web site still says that the entire team is scheduled for 2014 release.
The Loyal Subjects have posted an image showing off Constructicon Scrapper from the upcoming third wave of their Transformers Action Vinyls. These little guys are about 3" tall and feature multiple points of articulation. Keep reading to see the photo!
Transformers 4: Lost Age is out in Japan, and TakaraTomy is supporting the movie with both toy commercials, and a themesong for the kids' line of figures: "Kakkoeasy!" It's one of those difficult to translate Japanese wordplays that combines the words "Kakkoii" ("handsome" or "cool-looking") and "Easy" (which is written "i-ji-" in Japanese.) Definitely a song for little kids, but one with the sinister potential to bore into your head and never leave. Keep reading to hear it for yourself and see the toy commericial too!
TRANSFORMERS GIGANTIC MEGAZARAK FIGURE -

Autobase Aichi has posted a link to a YouTube video from the Japanese premiere events for Lost Age/Age of Extinction. It features both a crazy lightshow focused on the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee statues we've seen so much of since June, and Jack Reynor (Shane Dyson) and Nicola Peltz (Tessa Yeager) answering questions in English which were asked in Japanese and looking appropriately confused. Keep reading to see the video! UPDATE: Just added images from the event.
Robot Kingdom has posted a video of X2Toys' upcoming Firing Pin figure (based on onetime Wreckers leader Impactor) which features a working springloaded pellet cannon, complete with loading system and hopper for semi-automatic fire. The hopper is detachable, and the loading system is disguised as one of Impactor's other
weapons- simply fill it, slide it over the hopper, and the gun is loaded. Keep reading to see the video, plus renders and in-progress photos!
Planet Iacon has posted a collection of images of upcoming TakaraTomy releases, most of them in-package. Among the crowd are Transformers Expo exclusive Nemesis Prime, from the Lost Age/Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime mold.
