Remember when we first saw the blue Mercedes Benz E350 on the set of Transformers 3 while filming in Chicago? Some believed it was the Chevrolet Volt (we did at one point), and some thought it would replace the Volt as Jolt's vehicle mode.

It turns out that we were a bit off, according to the administrator of Director Michael Bay's Shoot For the Edit Nelson.

"[The] Mercedes is not Jolt," Nelson posts on the forums.

The thread's topic concerns whether or not Jolt was in or out for Trasnformers 3, which Nelson did not clarify.

In a separate thread, Nelson drops something else, "[If I recall correctly], the blue Mercedes and the Einstein-looking bot are the same."

Last weekend, a cardboard cutout of a head of a robot that looked like Einstein was spotted on the set.

If Nelson's memory serves him correctly, then the old bot seems to have a rather interesting tastes in vehicles!
