According to the Tweet this figure has been revealed as the Energon Scorponok mold. He followed up later with a very short post suggesting the release is being offered in a limited production of 1000.

1000 limted???

This gives us reason to believe this may be tied to the Takara Tomy Generations line or possibly an eHobby release of some kind?
